Is this a drug?
No. It's a topical cosmetic serum — no prescription, no hormones, nothing systemic. It doesn't affect testosterone, DHT, libido or mood, because it doesn't act on hormones at all.
I tried minoxidil and nothing happened. Why would this be different?
Minoxidil is inactive until an enzyme in the scalp called SULT1A1 converts it. Enzyme levels are genetic, and in one clinic study roughly half of patients had low activity — closely matching the known non-response rate. Cactevo doesn't require that conversion step, and works through a different route entirely.
Can I use it with finasteride or minoxidil?
